Founder & Tutor — Burke Tutoring in Fremont
I've been tutoring for more than 10 years and have taught in Fremont, Newark, Union City, Palo Alto, and Cupertino. I worked with Grade Potential, Sylvan Learning, and C2 Education before founding Burke Tutoring in Fremont. Now I get to manage a team of tutors while still teaching myself.
I focus on one-on-one classes for the more advanced courses — AP Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I also help families with the Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry series in FUSD.
My main strategy is to work with my students using problem sets — either from textbooks I have, or questions I write myself for subjects my students are weakest in. Most of my students don't need a full reminder lesson, but more pinpointed help for specific subjects.
